Virtual Assistant Usage
This report shows monthly or daily usage of Virtual Assistant. There are several types of Virtual Assistant interaction that are recognized and counted appropriately:
- Virtual Assistant: This is the standard session type. Only active sessions are counted – the user must have sent a message to the VA. Curiosity clicks (where the VA launched and was ignored) will not be counted.
- Sales App Wizard: This is a specialized type of Virtual Assistant. Sales App Wizard sessions are reported as a simple session count.
- Banker Bot: Another specialized type of Virtual Assistant. Banker Bot usage is reported as a count of distinct customers per interval. For example, if a given customer uses Banker Bot twice within the month then they will be counted as one instance of Banker Bot usage for that month. However, if customers are not being authenticated then each session is assumed to be a distinct customer.
- Virtual Coach: Another specialized type of Virtual Assistant. Like Banker Bot, Virtual Coach is reported as a count of distinct customers per interval. If customers are not being authenticated, then every session is assumed to be a distinct customer.
There are versions of this report for Monthly and Daily intervals which break down the data by Assistant and interval. The report uses an Assistant parameter set.

The report includes the following columns:
Assistant
The Virtual Assistant (VA) that a visitor interacted with. Also known as a Bot or Avatar.
Virtual Assistant Active Sessions
The number of active Virtual Assistant sessions that began during the interval. Only sessions which have ended when the report is run are counted. Active Sessions are sessions in which the user engaged with the VA, excluding curiosity clicks.
Sales App Wizard Sessions
The number of Sales Application Wizard sessions that began during the interval. Only sessions which have ended when the report is run are counted.
Banker Bot Customers
The number of distinct customers who began at least one Banker Bot session during the interval. Only customers whose sessions have ended when the report is run are counted.
Virtual Coach Customers
The number of distinct customers who began at least one Virtual Coach session during the interval. Only customers whose sessions have ended when the report is run are counted.
